I told you not to read, but okay.
I started this diary style site, to keep me sharp, and ready at all times. Opportunities are always around the corner. I will be upload regularly and with consistency over the years. Photos, documentation, design, anything I feel is worth it. Slowly building that archive, diary, or portfolio however you want to see it.
I love and hate instagram, and with over ten years of being on IG, I didn't want it to be the only showcase for my work. I am a photographer at heart, if you know me you know that, with over ten years of experience shooting models, artists, brands, magazines, building my own, and now creating more and more social media content. It pays well to package it with design and branding. I launched a design office service a few years back and I can't complain. We work with a few regulars (thank you for believing in us), and open our doors to anyone brave enough to ring the door bell. Now we are throwing more and more happenings at our house, office and studio in Mexico City. Its fun, its a bitch, but always worth it. Its honestly the best of times. Cleaning is always a fun moment to reflect. (JK). We had the best of karmas when finding our current spot. Its been magical to create and refresh my creative path in this amazing space built in the 1970s.
Now I am back officially to photography and my creative endeavours. After closing my first company and magazine I learned a lot. I was young, and with many lessons to learn. I made mistakes and fixed all that I could. I'm proud and also grateful for so many adventures and life lessons so no take backs. It almost destroyed me, but also it created me.
I have such a different state of mind now, than 10 years ago, when I arrived to Mexico City. I know I am not perfect, or still a house hold name, but I know what I bring to the table. Running point, and direction with so many people over the years has given me a unique way to curate, design, direct, photograph, write, and connect with anything. I know I have a lot of work to do, but I am happy to do it. To bring an escape, a feeling, and an emotion with my work is the chase now. Followers and engagement are not the devil, but they don't define this new reality I will create. (Also doesn't mean I wont upload dumb shit from time to time to secert TikTok accounts, hahaha.)
